2012 Lexus GS aka Lexus LF-Gh

As was already mentioned a few days ago, the presentation of the Lexus LF-Gh aka 2012 Lexus GS was scheduled for April 19. But Lexus has chosen to advance the events and offer the first pictures of its new prototype with a week in advance. A time to cheer for the lexus lovers

The Lexus LF-Gh is not only ahead of the line followed by the next generation 2012 Lexus GS, but also shows the design cues shared with the rest of the Lexus range as they are renewed in the different segments. With 4.89 meters in length, its proportions are virtually the same as the current GS.

The most characteristic design aspect of the 2012 Lexus GS is undoubtedly the huge front grille with honeycomb design and sharp flanking defenses. Undoubtedly the latter have been inspired by the brand Lexus LFA supercar and probably one of the traits that confer greater sportiness of the new 2012 GS and other Lexus models.

Sportsmanship as offering the body lowered and wheels which given its status as the prototype are very striking and large enough with 20. " The rear light clusters and high technology and LED headlamps also enhance the character of the Lexus LF Gh ( Lexus 2012 GS) . But in the end except the exotic front, the remaining details could be perfectly applicable in the future GS production.

One of the areas where that has worked Lexus is the habitability and refinement of the cabin. As shown some of the "laconic" we have offered images of the interior, the Lexus LF Gh also could present the cockpit of the future production model, or at least very close to the design will look when it arrives in dealerships.

Another of the highlights of this prototype is undoubtedly its mechanical hybrid, but so far Lexus has kept the "secret" of its new Hybrid Drive for another day. Only mention that enough changes have been applied in the engineering of the system to get more power, worthy of a luxury sedan, while improving efficiency for more optimal consumption and emit less greenhouse gases.

2012 Honda S3000 - The sporty car

The Honda S3000 is nothing but a variant of the Honda CR-Z Hybrid sports mode which essentially adds the convertible option. The 2012 Honda S3000 raraises the bar in the area of the sports convertible cars and backs the brand name in the area of a quality car.

The 2012 Honda S3000 has to prove itself to be a worthy successor of the Honda S2000. Let us familiarize ourself with some of the features of the Honda S3000.

Q. Is there any official announcement about the 2012 Honda S3000.

A. No, there is absolutely no official announcement from Honda at the time of writing. All we know is a the Honda S2000 which was launched by Honda in the year of 1999 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Honda.

Q. So why the heck is the talk about the 2012 Honda S3000.

A. It is expected that the Honda S3000 will succeed the Honda S2000. And hence the buzz has started about the Honda S3000. Honda S2000 has not been as great a success as was originally supposed to be. This was confirmed by Motoatsu from Honda in October 2005. Therefore Honda has started looking for some alternatives to justify the time and money spent on the Honda S2000.

Q. So how bad is the S2000 in terms of production and demand ?

A. In 2009 Honda produced just 2,648 units of the Honda S2000, which is dismal by any standard. In US, only 795 units of the S2000 were produced in 2009. It is clear that the S2000 was a definite failure. Whether the launch of the 2012 Honda S3000 becomes a sucess or not - only time will tell.

Q. SO what will be the changes in Honda S3000 2012 as compared to Honda S2000.

A. We do not have any definite information on this front. However some of the information available have reported that the 2012 Honda S3000 is a real wheel drive. This could however, not be confirmes.

Honda may integrate V-6 engine to the new S3000, but, again, this is nothing more than a rumour at this stage. The new S3000 is expected to have the 3 or 3.5 liter engines following the same steps at the Honda jazz 1.4 and Acura TL.
